NOTE: This is a ʻsuggestedʼ basic list of supplies you will need in most KALIGRAFOS workshops. Each workshop will also publish a specific supply list per the individual instructor. - Notebook and pen for note taking - Pen holders (for pointed & broad edge nibs) - Pen rest (for anchoring pen when not in use) - Various nibs - Pencils (soft leaded) - Eraser - Ruler -18” or longer - metal cork-backed is best - Gouache/ink of your preference - Gum Arabic (for use in mixing gouache) - Small mixing pan (6 well plastic); Mixing brush, distilled water w/dropper - Water container for cleaning brushes, etc - Paper towels - Masking tape (blue artist tape; removable tape) - 11x17 calligraphy grid pad - Scissors/Xacto knife - Cushion to sit on - Apron - Small plastic bag for paper scraps & trash If you have a question about any of the items on this list, please inquire of any Kaligrafos seasoned member for clarification.
