Mainly my quarantine challenge has been trudging up the mountain called “Technology.” I’ve become a “Zoombie” learning to teach my ESL class online. It’s all about language. For example, what’s a platform? I’m thinking: subway platform where you wait for the train? Political party platform where policies are stated? Platform shoes (no thanks)”? Nooo, in technology it’s “a group of technologies that are used as a base upon which other applications, processes or technologies are developed.” Oh, OK, now that’s clear.   So, this is why I love calligraphy–real words on real paper with real meaning. Give me NIBerty or give me death!
